Diploma in VAT Excellence (DiVE)
DiVE INTO THE WORLD OF VAT
Diploma in VAT Excellence (DiVE)
Registrations are now open!
The Chelco VAT International Academy is now accepting registrations for attending the Diploma in VAT Excellence (DiVE) course, for the academic year 2024-2025.
What is DiVE?
The Diploma in VAT Excellence is a course spanning a period of 10-months, which elevates Value Added Tax knowledge to the level of a VAT expert, with an emphasis on the Cyprus VAT legislation.
The world of VAT requires dedication and knowledge to tackle the complexities of the legislation. Attending a seminar, conference or a short course may be enlightening to an extent, but is certainly not sufficient as a basis for providing VAT advice or offering VAT compliance services. The purpose of DiVE is to allow individuals and/or businesses to invest in a solid foundation on which they can then offer or apply the knowledge gained to service their own VAT requirements or those of their clients.
The course will commence in September 2024 with completion in June 2025 and will be taught by Academy Lead Instructor, Alexis Tsielepis, as well as guest VAT experts from Cyprus and abroad. This is the 4th DiVE program, with the 3rd ending in June 2024.
The course will cover:
- Detailed analysis of the VAT Directive, and how certain provisions have been transposed in the Cyprus VAT legislation;
- Detailed analysis of 50 key VAT judgments of the European Court of Justice;
- 1-on-1 workshops that offer the best personalised learning environment;
- Free participation for all seminars/webinars and events hosted by the Chelco VAT International Academy during the period of their registration;
- A 3-hour written and a 1-hour oral examination in June 2025;
- Successful candidates will receive the Diploma in VAT Excellence issued by the Chelco VAT International Academy.
