Limassol – Renowned VAT expert, Prof. Dr. David Hummel, will address the Chelco VAT Forum at Columbia Plaza Venue Center in Limassol on Friday, 28 June 2024.

The VAT Forum is organised by local VAT experts, Chelco VAT Ltd, to celebrate their 10 years of operations.

Prof. Dr. David Hummel, Professor at the University of Leipzig and Legal Secretary (Référendaire) at the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in the Chambers of Advocate General, Juliane Kokott, will analyse how to read decisions of the court and present ways on how the Cyprus Tax Tribunal and the Cyprus Courts can benefit from appealing to the CJEU for various dispute resolutions on VAT.

He will then lead a high-level panel discussion on the issue, moderated by the Managing Director of Chelco VAT, Alexis Tsielepis, flanked by panelists, Demetra Constantinou of Kinanis LLC, Constantinos Adamides, of Scordis, Papapetrou & Co LLC and Angelos Onisiforou of Patrikios Legal.

The Forum will take place from 3pm to 6pm and will be followed by a Cocktail Reception at Columbia Plaza’s 7 Seas from 6.30pm to 9pm.
