This is the very last chance to register for Alexis Tsielepis’ VAT and Fixed Establishments (FE) webinar, scheduled to be held this Thursday, 9 March from 2pm – 6.30pm local time.

The slides are ready and Alexis is poised and ready to offer participants an all-around FE experience. Using simple English, he will go through the VAT FE historical background, including almost 40 years of European Court of Justice (ECJ) analysis and he will look at how the definition found in the Implementing Regulation should be interpreted.

The online course on FE is organised by VAT Forum, an international partnership of indirect tax specialists based in Belgium and will provide a conceptual framework through which the FE concept can be examined.

Alexis, who is the Managing Director of Chelco VAT and Partner and Director of VAT Forum, will also analyse the attributes of the FE and how one should be thinking about this concept, including a critical evaluation of recent ECJ cases. He will also talk about the impact of the FE on the place of services rules and the place of supply of goods rules.
